Surely there is no-one living in Carinthia region, who has not heard of the Mexican restaurant Saloon, located along the way from Kotlje towards Slovenj Gradec, in Sele - Vrhe settlement. The restaurant is known for its excellent culinary offer, truly huge portions and friendly staff, as well as true Wild West ambiance with a touch of Mexican temperament. The very idea of this kind of restaurant came to the restaurant owner, Nicolas Konečnik, while he traveled around Europe and the idea became a reality about 5 years ago.

Numerous guests from all over Slovenia and even neighboring Austria prove that a positive reputation really does travel far. Mexican dishes full of flavor and aroma leave no-one indifferent and even the most demanding guests will surely find a specialty to their taste in Saloon. They can choose from a wide variety of steaks (Argentinian, Rump-steak, buffalo steak , T- bone steak), famous Mexican stew Chilli con carne, fajitas, Ensaladas, Enchiladas, many different types of pizza and even more. Recently we added a wide variety of desserts, including the well-known Mexican vanilla desserts .

Saloon is specially interesting during weekends, when we pamper our guests with live country music evenings. To add variety we also often provide excellent cocktails, made by professional bartenders and served to you by our charming Cowgirl hostesses.

Saloon really is a diverse and interesting place, worth to visit - a fact further shown by several well known Slovenian musicians and music groups that chose our restaurant as the place where they recorded their music videos.
