The Tulipan Guest House and Restaurant (Gostišče Tulipan) is located in Lesce, an idyllic village located among the Radovljica plains with far-reaching views, where it is equally as pleasant to live as it is to visit.

Here your dreams of an unforgettable holiday can come true. There is something to cater for everyone; lovers of the outdoors, adrenaline sports, hiking, history, cultural events, and those wishing to discover the secrets of unspoilt nature.

Holidaymakers and day-trippers have been visiting the area since the 12th century, when Lesce was on one of the most important pilgrimage routes in Slovenia. The name 'Lesce' originates from the Slovene word for wood (les), due to the surrounding woods and forests. The mighty mountains, hills and lush forests are just waiting to be explored.

Lovers of fine food and wine are also well catered for, especially lovers of chocolate, honey, and other honey products, such as our honey beer. Gostišče Tulipan enjoys a unique and favourable location, just a few hundred metres from the Gorenjka Chocolate Factory and the Lesce Beekeeping Centre - the home of gingerbread and many other honey products.

The rooms in the guest house are named after the surrounding mountains and provide a welcome refuge for those wishing to spend an unforgettable break in the heart of nature.

Accommodation

The Tulipan Guesthouse offers nine comfortable double rooms, whose size and quality of furnishings give them a four star (4*) rating. The rooms are special for their magnificent views of the nearby mountains, and so they are named after the respective mountains that can be seen through the room window.

All rooms have their own entrance, an en-suite bathroom, equipped with either a shower or a bath, and a hair-dryer. There are a TV set with free channels, a mini bar, a safe, a telephone and free Internet access. Some rooms allow extra bedding for children.

A magnificent view, cosy atmosphere and quality furnishing provide everything that you need for a relaxed stay and rest.

Our guests can use large uncovered and covered parking, suitable also for bikers. Free bicycle storage is also available. The entrance to the inn is adjusted to the visitors with disabilities.
An overnight stay, bed and breakfast, half board or full board are available for our guests.

The restaurant

The restaurant is furnished in traditional style and offers quiet and relaxed atmosphere, where all generations can find a retreat, together with culinary experiences, which makes it a popular venue for a variety of thematic and music events, anniversaries, weddings, baptism celebrations, business meetings and friends and family meetings on different occasions.

You are welcome if you would like to share your special moments with us. We will make sure that they will give you many happy memories.

The restaurant is a product of family love and cooperation and in line with the tradition, we are preparing a variety of original Slovenian dishes, some still to granny Mici's recipe.

Vegans are also welcome. For them, we will carefully prepare selected dishes.

Meat lovers are recommended game dishes, which the guesthouse is famous for.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 guests and the sun room another 35. It has a private parking and a bicycle shed. We have also taken care of an easy access for the disabled and the elderly.

THE HUNTERS ROOM

The hunters room is intended for small and private parties, wishing to enjoy quiet and intimate atmosphere, together with good food and drink. It is suitable for family and business meetings.
The room can accommodate up to 20 people.
