The exquisite wines of Goriška Brda wine cellar are being born among charming vineyards, right in the heart of Goriška brda region.  The mission of one of the most renowned and major Slovene wine producers is to successfully continue and improve the centuries-long tradition of wine making. Our wines impress wine lovers and experts in Slovenia and in 26 countries throughout the world. The secret lies in the passionate skilfulness of our team in incorporating the unique particularities of Goriška brda in our internationally awarded still and sparkling wines.

The Goriška Brda wine cellar was founded in 1957 as a cooperative and is still completely  owned by its members. From its beginnings the wine cellar had a major impact on the economic development of the region and the lifestyle of the local people.

The Goriška Brda wine cellar manages 1000 hectares of vineyards that spread half-way between the Adriatic and the Alps. We truly believe in a sustainable development. For this reason the majority of our vineyards are included in our integrated system of vine-growing. In average every winegrower cultivates less than 2 hectares and thus takes care of each vine with devotion, resulting in a superior quality of grapes and wine. One of our leading principles is that quality is created in the vineyard.  

In the vineyard as well as the wine cellar we give particular attention to expertise which combined with the subtle and responsible monitoring of natural cycles grants our customers safety and Slovenian quality.

We are oriented towards market demands and customer needs the fulfilment of which is our everyday challenge.

Wine-tasting - The wine-tasting in our cellar has become a ceremony and an event.

A professional in the trade will see to it that you will learn as much as possible about wines, how to taste them, and you will be told about the characteristics of the Brda region, its climate and soil from the point of view of wine production. And you will, of course, sample the best known wines of our cellar.
