In winter you can enjoy a modern ski center or visit the traditional event "laufarija" of the Cerkno region and in the summer set out to the picturesque archaeological site Divje babe, where the oldest instrument in the world, the Neanderthal bone flute, was discovered inside a Karst cave in Paleolithic layers, or you can stop at the partisan hospital Franja, which bears the European Heritage Label, and along the way visit the birthplace of the writer France Bevk in Zakojca.
