Prevalje
History of Prevalje is the history of the iron industry, which was the strongest in this part of Europe until the abolition of ironworks. The municipality also boasts of a rich cultural history: with Roman stones found at Zagrad, with a beautiful Gothic churches above Leše, with Štoparjev bridge which is an outstanding technical monument, it is the former seat of Mohorjeva družba and the place where the idea of reading badge was conceived. Don't forget to visit the tourist village Šentanel, drop by Poljana, where last European battles of World War II took place and the near by border crossing Holmec, one of the most important battle grounds in the war for independent Slovenia in 1991.
