Idrija
Idrija is located in the heart of the Idrija hills in the valley at the junction of the sub-alpine and Karst. It is a city rich in history, and thanks to the discovery of mercury it extends all the way to the end of the 15th century. It had a great economic, development and settlement importance. The mine in Idrija was rapidly expanding and gaining in importance, while it also grew Idrija. The rich historical image of Idrija was also made with help of women, staying at home and developing their manual skills and cuisine.
