Tourist farm Oblak

The tourist farm Oblak offers a lot of opportunities for the family, fraternal or hunting trips or just for spending holidays throughout the year. The ideal conditions for the physical preparation of elite and recreational athletes, the animation for the children, youth and adults as well as for organizing business seminars.

THE FOOD
Our specialty is venison meat specialties, vegetable rolls, apple or cherry strudel, homemade fruit juice, excellent wines from different manufacturers and many different local sweets.

ACCOMODATION
There are five apartments or twenty beds in our offer:

• 2 doublebeds (2, 2)
• 1 doublebed with bunk beds (2 +2)
• 1 doublebeds room with children specifically (2 +2)
• 1 suite with eight beds (8)

Each apartment has a hallway, bathroom, kitchen and a double bed with TV. The furniture is made of solid spruce woods which gives special warmth and homeliness in the rooms.

ACTIVE HOLIDAYS
Sauna and recreation room are the places for you to relax and take care of your physical activity, social evenings spent at the crackling fire in the fireplace.

Little zoo on our farm, filled with deers, llamas, pidgeons, bunnies and chickens is an unforgetablle experience for both children and adults.

There’s a wonderful view over the surrounding area and many opportunities for walks. Take a walk up to Sveti Gregor , climb to the ruins of the old Ortneški castle on the Grand Žrnovec (765 m) or Grmada (887 m), drive to Turjak or Ribnica castle, perhaps to Trubar Homestead in Rašica.

Maybe you are interested in viewing rainforest? Its is located about half an hour from our farm and at your request, we will take you on a guided tour to the edge of Kočevski rainforest.

The surrounding area is rich in cultural heritage: in the immediate vicinity of our farm, in the church at Maršiči there is a precious frecso of Fox The Pilgrim from the 15th century, while at Sveti Tomaž in Velike Poljane there is a frecso of The babykiller Luksuria from the 16th century.
