About us

Our family has been engaged in farming for several centuries already. Our primary focus has been animal husbandry as well as production of milk.

The Pirc farm has always had the reputation of welcoming with open arms every good soul. In 2009 we expanded our farming business to include tourism and built a new, wooden apartment house.

So, we are now inviting you to visit us: Katarina, the lady of the house, with my husband Sašo, our children Metka, Primož and Rok, grandma Nada, and our golden retriever Medo.

We recommend our apartments, to everyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, to enjoy the serenity and beauty of pristine nature, invigorate the body and relax the mind.

As our farm is located in the central part of Štajerska, it is a great starting point to explore the entire Slovenia.

The Pražnikar farm, known locally as Pri Pirc, is located a good kilometre out of Laško, in the foothills above the town from where it commands a stunning view of the Savinja River Valley and of the surrounding hills and mountains.

As guests vacationing at the Tourist Farm Pirc you will be staying in the apartments in a beautifully set up wooden house. We have recently enhanced the offerings of our tourist farm with a choice of two types of saunas – Finnish and infrared.

Your stay in the farming environment will be healthy and pleasant.
