Istranova Restaurant & Hotel ****

Take a road from Koper over Šmarje to Dragonja and there you will see a signpost for Padna - charming village in the Istrian hills, not far from the tourist hustle and bustle on the Coast.

Padna is an excellent starting point for excursions across Istria and Slovenia. Istranova is a great hotel with a restaurant which offers genuine culinary experience.

Istranova pampers you with delicious food, a great selection of bottled wines and comfortable apartments. The kitchen uses most of seasonal ingredients and products of local suppliers.

You are served with domestic olive oil and homemade bread with prosciutto, olives, cheese, soups .... Season dishes include wild garlic or asparagus soup in spring and chestnut or minestrone rich soup in autumn. Istranova also has its own mill which presses oil from domestic olive groves and the service is also offered to the others.
