TIC Idrija

Tourist Information Centre (TIC) provides general information about the town and its surroundings, sites worth seeing and events, which liven up the happenings in the town. The event that stands out particularly is the internationally acclaimed Idrija Lace Festival. TIC recommends restaurants which offer typical local dishes, such as the "žlikrofi", "zeljševka" and "smukavc".

At our Tourist Information Centre (TIC) office, you'll find a variety of items such as:

• postcards,
• travel guides,
• maps and other literature,
• souvenirs and gifts, and
• a selection of products made from our famous Idrija Lace;

There is also free wifi internet access within our space.

You can hire a local tour guide to show you the sites in and around the town; offering the choice between organized programs or a custom-made program suited to your wishes.

TIC has a new location right in the heart of town centre (Mestni trg 2), where our representatives will be happy to help and advise you for your stay with us.
